Social Media Policy

Purpose
At OSHC Adventures, our focus is on providing safe, high-quality, and community-based care for children and families. To protect the privacy, safety, and integrity of our children, families, staff, and school partners, OSHC Adventures does not operate or maintain any official social media accounts or platforms.
This policy outlines our position regarding social media activity and the appropriate use of our name, branding, and content online.
1. Our Social Media Presence
OSHC Adventures does not maintain active accounts on any social media platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, or YouTube.
Any social media account claiming to represent OSHC Adventures is not authorised and does not reflect the views, operations, or communications of our organisation.
All official communication from OSHC Adventures will occur through:

Direct communication with families via our Xap platform and at the service level.
2. Use of the OSHC Adventures Name and Brand
We respectfully request that members of the community, families, and staff do not create, operate, or contribute to any social media pages, groups, or profiles that:
Imply official affiliation with OSHC Adventures;
Use our name, logo, or program imagery without written permission; or
Share content that could misrepresent or compromise the reputation of OSHC Adventures, its staff, or the children in our care.
Our name, logo, photographs, and written content are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written approval.
3. Staff, Family, and Community Expectations
While OSHC Adventures does not use social media for communication or marketing, we recognise that staff and families may use personal social media accounts privately.
We ask that all online activity related to our service remain respectful and compliant with this policy.
You must not:
Post or share photos, videos, or identifying information about children, staff, or families from our programs.
Post content that could defame, mislead, or misrepresent OSHC Adventures or its services.
Share confidential or operational information, including locations, rosters, incidents, or internal procedures.
Use the OSHC Adventures name, logo, or branding without permission.
All community members are expected to uphold the principles of respect, confidentiality, and professionalism in online spaces, consistent with our Child Safe Standards and Code of Conduct.
4. Reporting Inappropriate or Misleading Content
If you identify a social media account or online post claiming to represent OSHC Adventures, or any content that misuses our name, logo, or materials, please report it immediately to:

5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property associated with OSHC Adventures—including our name, logo, photographs, written material, and programs—is protected under copyright law.
You may not reproduce, adapt, or use our materials for personal, promotional, or online purposes without written permission from the Approved Provider.
6. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or sooner if there are changes to digital media practices, regulations, or service operations.

Summary
OSHC Adventures does not use social media.
Any social media accounts, pages, or posts claiming to represent us are unauthorised.
